"We would recommend to family and friends Bobcat Painters. Their team arrived on time each day (7 in total), were clean and respectful, gave us a start date months in advance for the exterior of our house and started on that actual day, did a fantastic job painting - no drips on our hardy board walls or missed spots, touched up places we never would have noticed and each and everyone of their team were craftsman. Charlie is a trustworthy person and I'm so glad he helped make our home look amazing."

Bridger Canyon Home

Background: When we first showed up to this home, the homeowners explained that they purchased the home years ago and couldn't stand the color of the home. The faded, bright-orange paint was not only hard to look at, but more importantly it was chipping and peeling in every area where the snow settled against the home for half the year. The siding boards were all still in good shape, but were left unprotected making them vulnerable to swelling, delaminating, and eventually needing to be replaced.

Process: We began by gently and thoroughly scraping the entire perimeter of the home in areas where snow rested against the siding causing the paint to chip and peel. After all the failing paint was scraped off and the old paint chips were vacuumed up, we rough sanded the substrate to ensure a smooth and seamless finish. We then applied a thick and even coat of the highest grade primer on the market to every problem spot where the paint had scraped off leaving exposed substrate. At the same time, we cut out any loose caulking and refilled all the cracks and seams with fresh top-of-the-line caulking making sure to press it into each gap smoothly and evenly to ensure it would seal well and hold up to the moisture and temperature swings. We then worked to mask-off or protect with drop cloths all windows, concrete, deck surfaces, lights and anything that we would not be painting. Starting by painting the trim then the siding, we evenly applied the highest quality paint on top of the properly prepared home. After sufficient dry time, we pulled tape revealing the crisp and straight lines that we love. Finally after a thorough cleanup of the entire jobsite, we hand washed the deck before applying a high quality solid body oil stain to the surface of the deck to seal it and refresh the look/color.
