Background: Our crews at Bobcat Painting have finished dozens of new construction interior projects around the Gallatin Valley including Big Sky, Bozeman, Belgrade, Livingston, and surrounding towns. We've worked with countless builders, remodelers, building owners, and contractors to transform their jobsites into smooth, seamless, and freshly painted store fronts, shops, apartments, restaurants, and more. We understand that when painting new builds, we must stick to a strict timeline, and we must fit into the builder's schedule. We prioritize the production of these jobs and we understand what a smooth workflow looks like with our painting crew and all the other trades that come before and follow us.

Process: We will schedule a meeting with all property owners and project managers if possible to clearly define scope of the project, timeline, order of operations, our process, and fine details like color and product selections. With most interior new builds, we will start by cleaning relevant surfaces. This often entails using drywall tools with cleaning pads to remove the dust that remains from the drywallers sanding the final coat of mud. We also often must vacuum the entire perimeter of the floor to ensure no dust gets kicked up into the primer or paint coats while we are working. With more fine finish work like sprayed trim, window and door frames, or doors, we will finely sand the surfaces, vacuum, then use a tack cloth to remove any tiny dust particles to produce the best possible finish. We will neatly and systematically spray these items with a specific self-leveling enamel paint using a fine-finish, low-pressure tip on our sprayers. We almost always will use the brush and roll method to reduce overspray, airborne particles, and amount of fumes in the air although there are exceptions where it is necessary or far more efficient to spray. For example, we will spray any industrial exposed ceilings with "dry-fall" paint.
