Commercial Building Refresh

Background: This building was used as a warehouse for most of its life and it showed. When IGS purchased it and moved in recently, the owners decided that it needed a facelift because the building would serve as both their warehouse and storefront. The drywall was unfinished, damaged, and quite rough-looking on the inside and the outside of the building was faded, cracked, peeling, and really looked to be in disrepair.

Process: We started by covering all of the concrete directly around the perimeter of the building and masking all of the windows and fixtures. We then sprayed an even coat of direct-to-metal bonding primer onto all of the metal soffits, fascia, gutters, siding, and downpipes to ensure the paint would adhere well to these smooth surfaces. Our crews lapped the building filling all cracks/holes in the trim and siding. We then sprayed top-of-the-line Sherwin Williams exterior paint onto the entire exterior of the building. We included painting all of the large shop doors to give the shop a nice modern contrast.
